No matter how good you think your life is without God, the devil does not care about you or your future. Satan’s only concern is stealing from Jehovah’s children, killing you with freak accidents, drug overdoses, etc., and destroying you with greed, ignorance, and apathy about who you are.

Lucifer tried to tempt Jesus by showing him all the world’s kingdoms with their splendor and promising to give it all to Jesus if he bowed down and worshiped him. (Matthew 4: 8), Satan promises humankind power, glory, wealth, and splendor if you make him your lord instead of choosing Jesus. In reality, all the devil wants is for you to turn your backs on Christ and join his kingdom of darkness. And when he gets you to a pivotal point, he snatches the carpet from underneath your feet and grins as you tumble to defeat and despair.

Satan desires to steal your peace, joy, health, wealth, and relationships that God provided. If he can’t steal from you, he’ll attempt to kill you with the seven deadly sins of pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and laziness. If unsuccessful in stealing or killing your dreams, he will try to destroy your reputation, health, contentment, family, and relationship with your heavenly Father by telling lies about who you are in Christ Jesus, causing doubt and confusion.

Don’t listen to Satan’s untruths that God doesn’t care about you. Yahweh wants the best for you and desires you to prosper and be healthy.

Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (NIV).
